Maragogi and Fazenda Xaréu
First-time travellers to Brazil will embark on a journey to Maragogi by flying into Camila’s hometown Recife and then taking a two-hour drive along the coast.
Known for its pristine beaches and vibrant coral reefs, the simplicity of Maragogi attracts tourists all year-round, ranking among the clearest waters and most beautiful beaches in Brazil.
The wedding will take place at Fazenda Xaréu, a beach front venue set in 150 hectares of natural beauty, with more than 25 thousand coconut trees, mangroves and river areas.

Travelling in Brazil
There is plenty to see all around Brazil, however we highly recommend spending some time in Rio de Janeiro, one of the most iconic cities in the world. Rio has something for everyone, you can relax by the beach, see the sights, enjoy the many restaurants and experience the authentic Carioca lifestyle.
If you are flying through São Paulo, it's worthwhile to stay a few nights to indulge in the city's renowned culinary scene and experience the lively nightlife of the most populous city in the Americas.
For those seeking an exclusive island experience, Fernando de Noronha is an amazing destination and only a one-hour flight from Recife. With boutique accommodations and breathtaking scenery there is plenty to explore and enjoy on this exquisite island.
Accomodation
While there are many great accommodation options to choose from in Recife and Maragogi, we are sharing a couple of our recommended hotels that are well located in Recife and nearby the wedding venue in Maragogi.
If you're travelling to Brazil and arriving in Recife in the days leading up to the wedding, we recommend staying at one of the hotels along Boa Viagem beach.
From the 29th November to the 2nd December, we will stay at Fazenda Xaréu and while we would love for every guest to be staying there with us, there are not enough rooms for everyone. With this we recommend these two hotels where we’ve considered comfort, location and value for your stay in Maragogi.
